While we were in Jacksonville, Arkansas last weekend, Harper developed a fondness for my nephew's pacifiers. She is not a "pacifier baby" and has never used one. But she found his pacifiers quite engaging and wanted to use them. More accurately, she demanded to have one and use one. She didn't want it all the time, but when she wanted it - you better let her have it.

The following picture illustrates what happened when I took one away. It did not go well. (I gave it back to her after I took this picture.)

Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of her with the pacifier. My bad.
