ninth wedding anniversary.

Randy and I celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary last night.

When asked to describe our lives right now, we both chose the word 'hectic' - and it's true. We are so busy. Our lives are busy and are kids are busy (they have a lot of energy and are both very feisty). We are just busy.

It's good for us to find some time to connect and get some sense of calm, but then we return home and reality sets in. It's a great reality and we are exceptionally blessed - but it's also a lot and can be very challenging.

To mark our anniversary we ate dinner at Ella's at Carnall Hall - like we always do. We also walked around the U of A campus for a bit and Old Main Lawn (where we got married).

Our evening was lovely and now it's back to reality. Our hectic, challenging, blessed reality.
