randy's belated birthday post.

This past Tuesday, April 17th, was Randy's birthday - he turned 34-years-old.

I feel like a slacker in that I didn't post anything about it. I also just feel and felt like I didn't do a good job at wishing him a Happy Birthday. I got him good presents (I think), but presents are material things that I don't think he cares a lot about.

I forgot to make him cupcakes - I always make him cupcakes for his birthday.

And the whole day just seemed lame. Maybe that's how birthdays are as we age.

Regardless, I didn't feel like I succeeded in making him happy for his birthday. The whole day didn't seem special, and I wanted him to feel special and important - which he is.

I did capture some sweet pictures of him with Hayden and Harper on the morning of his birthday. So I think I score some points for that.
