This week, Ian did things a little differently. Instead of asking us questions, he provided us with 4 questions to ask our children. Additionally, he instructed us to “insert” our own question for the final question.
Here are the questions (and answers) that Ian asked (as answered by my 3-year-old son Hayden).
- What's your favorite book/story? ‘He Bear/She Bear’ (this is a really adorable book that I REALLY like – our copy is older and I think was probably my book growing up… it is a Berenstains Bear book by Stan and Jan Berenstain).

- What do you want to do when you grow up? Drive your car. (I then re-phrased the question to “What do you want to be when you grow up?” His answer: Bob the Builder and have a hard hat on.)
- What is your favorite game? Hi Ho Cherry-O. It’s in my closet. I’ll go get it (and he did indeed go to his closet and retrieve it). (Note: Hi Ho Cherry-O is the only game he has and he doesn’t know how to play it.)

- What's your favorite food? A Bomp Pop. (This is VERY true. Here are some pictures of him with his beloved ‘bomb pop’. The first few are from July of last year and the last pictures are from last month. He loves himself a good ‘bomb pop’!)
And here is the question and answer to the question that I “inserted.”
- What do you think of mommy? You are good (thank you Hayden - you are good too).
Hayden is hilarious! And you ARE good!
ReplyDeleteI have to get my kids some Bomb Pops. I bet they'd love them, too...
I agree. You ARE good! Great Q&A. Very entertaining.
ReplyDeleteOh, I loved his answers!! I don't think my girls have ever even had a bomb pop! I've never heard of that Bernstein Bears book either, might have to look for that one:)
ReplyDeleteOh I love your last question and his perfect answer! We don't play many games either but if you are looking for some I highly recommend Elefun, the toddler version of Uno Moo, toddler Go Fish and Cootie Bugs. Also a really fun game is Hullabaloo - my daughter doesn't like any board games but loves all of these!

ReplyDeleteCute! I love Hayden commentary.
ReplyDeleteI remember He Bear She Bear! He's such a cutie pie. What a lovely answer about his Mama.
ReplyDeleteBomb pops are a big favorite in our house too!
ReplyDeleteOMG I love it. I am enjoying reading all the little ones answers. Too adorable. Makes me want a kid (kinda)
ReplyDeleteHis answers are too cute. I like how he got the game, cute. I loved the Berenstain Bears books when I was a kid.
My favorite answer was the "drive your car" and then "bob the builder". When my brother was 3-4 he always said he wanted to be a "Drive thru" when he grew up. He meant work at McDonalds drive thru...He had high aspirations.
:)
You are good! And so are popsicles.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! I love the Bob the Builder answer, so sweet :-)
ReplyDeletecuteness. love the answers. that's too funny about the game.
ReplyDeleteYou ARE good and I just love your home :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I love that he was so proud of his favorite game, which he doesn't even know how to play!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the last question (though it could have been pretty risky!).
Bomb Pops and Hi Ho Cherry-O? Those answers work for me!
ReplyDeleteBomb pops haven't been discovered here yet, but Pop=Pops have.
