Saturday was the first day of Spring. Oh really? I beg to differ.
Here are some pictures of our lovely “Spring day” taken yesterday. And yes, we did indeed have a foot of snow. The most we've had all year. So I ask you, where is Spring?!?
That's insane! I kept checking our weather because there was mention that we might get more snow as well but we ended up with a little rain. Well, hopefully Spring is underneath all that snow!
Oh My Goodness! I know your probably wishing it was springy like but I love the view....awesome...I guess it was meant to be that you get plastered to rub it in my face as to how much I miss that stuff. I just wanna dive in and let it melt on muh face=D
YIKES! We are having typical Seattle spring weather - Sunny & 70 on Saturday, rainy & 55 on Sunday. Supposed to be sunny & 60's by Tuesday again. Our winter was NON-existent, while the rest of you poor folks across the country have had it rough! ***Ally
Wow. I'm thinking I would have been pissed! On the 1st day of Spring here, I was in flip flops, capris, and a short sleeved shirt, taking Bree's Spring portraits outside!
Meanwhile, to the north of you in Springfield MO, they only got about 1/2 and inch, and down here in LR, we just had rain! Beautiful, pictures, anyway. Maybe it will kill some of the bugs.
OMG! You have snow there and we have NONE in Minnesota!?! How backwards is that??? Crazy stuff. It will melt soon, right? BTW, I don't know if you "do" blog awards, but if you do I would like to give you one!! http://alloftheaboveonline.blogspot.com/2010/03/march-madness-my-first-stilettos.html Enjoy!! ;)
That CANNOT be normal. I don't know much about Arkansas, but a foot of snow in the south just doesn't seem normal. That storm system hit us, but fortunately the temps are in the 40s so it's just been raining for two days.
On the flip side, it is pretty! Your house/neighborhood looks like Craftsmen style homes.... SO JEALOUS. My favorite architectural style!
Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my blog.
That snow totally surprised me. I was thinking 1-3 inches (tells you when I watched the news last before the snow). Then down comes 14 at our house...amazing.
Approvingly your article helped me terribly much in my college assignment. Hats off to you dispatch, choice look audacious in the direction of more related articles without delay as its united of my pet topic to read.

um, there is entirely nothing 'spring' about those photos. someone said something about snow the other day and i was like 'please don't use such foul language!' snow is definitely a dirty word.

ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful but I am sure it isn't as fun as it looks. I hope you get some sunshine and warm weather in your near future!!

ReplyDeleteWow! It's a winter wonderland. Beautiful pictures. We were expecting snow today but it's just cold, and overcast. Hope it warms up soon!

Keep it. I'm quite content with the rain and warm temps here on the east coast.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll stop complaining now - I've been so whiney about the spring weather - but I think you actually have a beat by a long shot!
