This past Saturday, Randy and I volunteered to help out our church youth group by going on a 'Ropes Course' with them (we were the "adult leaders" along with the youth group director).
It was fun! I have never done anything like that. I am not a fan of heights and that particular component of the day was definitely challenging (to say the least).
I said "shit" at one point (not appropriate around a bunch of 6th-12th graders) - my bad! And I also shared my "crotch discomfort" while doing the zip line... but seriously people... it hurt. And after I revealed that information, others admitted that indeed... their crotches also did not appreciate the zip line. So I think the honesty was therapeutic... well, not really. But oh well, I don't think it hurt either.
Anywho, we both had a good time and enjoyed our little adventure.

Looks fun! I did a ropes course when I went to the Soderquist Center and it was challenging to say the least. We did a challenge where you couldn't talk at all. That was rough. You wanted to help your partner, but you weren't allowed to talk. It was a learning experience to say the least!
