So, Hayden has the chicken pox. A very mild case... he doesn't even itch (well, he says they don't itch and he hasn't been scratching them at all) and they are really only on his back with a couple on his neck. He did have the vaccine which is why the doctor said they are so mild. He said nowadays they rarely see chicken pox like they used to.
But we will be staying home for a few days (probably until Friday). I am sure I will get incredibly bored, but I will survive. It could be MUCH worse!

ReplyDeletePoor little guy! I'm glad it is such a mild case and not really bothering him. He still looks really happy!

Oh my goodness! Poor guy and poor mommy! It's never fun when they are sick. Can you imagine though what it could have been if he hadn't gotten the vaccine? Whew. It didn't even occur to me that they still got it even with a vaccine. I don't know why...I mean, it's not really a sheild, but I think you get so comfortable thinking you've put this protection around them when truly it doesn't make them invincible. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteAt least it looks like he has a mild case of the chicken pox, and it looks like it doesn't even phase him! That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Bronson has had them yet. I fear it!! Hope if/when he gets them, it's like what Hayden is going through.
ReplyDeleteShook it! That should read 'Bronson hasn't had them yet'.
