celebration of a championship.

Saturday night, I attended 'Celebration of a Championship' which was an event to honor the 1994 Razorback Basketball team that won the 1994 NCAA National Championship. The event not only honored the players, but also the coaches and staff. It was lots of fun.

The players and Coach Richardson each spoke about the Championship, there was yummy food involved, and the company was superb. There was even a video message by President Clinton... pretty spiffy!

My parents had purchased a "table" which sat 10 people. In attendance was Randy, me, our friend Dave, my cousin Matthew, my Uncle David and Aunt Linda (Matthew's parents), Rob and Kathy Merry-Ship, and of course my parents. It was a good group!

This is the only picture I took during the actual event... my parents are calling the hogs (this "calling of the hogs" was lead by Coach Richardson).

As you can see we had a good time and we are major Razorback fans (especially my parents). I suppose to some this whole event might seem silly (or maybe we just seem silly...), but really it's VERY important and significant... I mean, that 1994 Basketball Team won the National Championship... pretty, freaking amazing if you ask me!
