The players and Coach Richardson each spoke about the Championship, there was yummy food involved, and the company was superb. There was even a video message by President Clinton... pretty spiffy!
My parents had purchased a "table" which sat 10 people. In attendance was Randy, me, our friend Dave, my cousin Matthew, my Uncle David and Aunt Linda (Matthew's parents), Rob and Kathy Merry-Ship, and of course my parents. It was a good group!
Here are some pictures that I took.
and here are my mom and dad with the mascots (with my dad wearing the cap).
This is the only picture I took during the actual event... my parents are calling the hogs (this "calling of the hogs" was lead by Coach Richardson).
As you can see we had a good time and we are major Razorback fans (especially my parents). I suppose to some this whole event might seem silly (or maybe we just seem silly...), but really it's VERY important and significant... I mean, that 1994 Basketball Team won the National Championship... pretty, freaking amazing if you ask me!
LOOKS LIKE YOU ALL HAD A GOOD TIME WISH I HAD BEEN THERE AND AT LEAST WE WON THE GAME!!!
ReplyDeleteahh the good ol hog call I think it only makes since to ppl from ark. Im not a hogs fan at all,so u wont catch me doing it. Go vols lol
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got to go to the dinner! I talked to Dave and he had a great time- I'm jealous! Chris and I went to the game on Sunday and were able to see the halftime festivities- so much fun...
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of mom and dad with the mascots. It's my new screen saver at work. I showed dad- he thought it was cute. They are too funny!
