a funk.

This is a little awkward and uncomfortable to admit, but I am going to do it anyways… I am in a funk. I don’t know what is going on with me… but I am just not a “happy-camper” lately. I try to put up a positive front, but on the inside things are rather messed up. I’m super edgy and anxious… my mood in general is just really down… it’s not fun. It’s actually quite dreary.

Anywho, I just wanted to be upfront and let everyone know what is going on with me… I’ve started seeing a counselor and am going to start taking a medication that should also help.

I hope this blog entry doesn’t weird anyone out. It isn’t meant to… I just felt like I should let you know what’s going on with me…this blog is about ‘My Life and How It’s Going’ and well the truth of it is that it’s not going too swell at the present moment.

Just give me a few weeks/months though and hopefully things will be better...

18-months-old.

Today was a big day for Master Hayden: he “turned” 18-months-old. He is growing so fast. It seems like just the other day he was a little bitty baby, yet at the same time it seems like that was so long ago. Weird.

He is talking quite a bit, following simple commands, running around like crazy, and just being a very active, engaging boy. Healthy and happy, I couldn’t ask for anything more…except for maybe a reduction in “tantrums” and for him to sleep a little more (but I guess he can’t be perfect, right?)?

10 "Weird" Things About Me...

I haven't posted in a while and I feel the need to do so... plus, today is a good day (number-wise) so I thought I should.

Unfortunately/Fortunately, I really can't think of anything to write about so I'm just going to post '10 Weird Things About Me'... there are many more I am sure... but here are a few:

1. I prefer certain times over others and only like to do things at those times... some "good times" are 9:42, 10:27, 4:17, 11:57, 5:21. There is no real reason for this, it's just a weird thing I have (I realize this subject has already been discussed, but it definitely deserves to be included on this list).

2. I never really had a boyfriend... I just ended up marrying the only guy I was ever serious with (not to mention the fact that I love him to death and he is a wonderful, amazing person).

3. I have only kissed two boys in my life: my husband and his brother (weird I know... it's a good story).

4. I'm very much an introvert... I don't like situations that are unorderly or chaotic (a rave would be my hell, and I don’t like parties or bars much either).

5. I don't drink alcohol... I think it tastes disgusting... VERY rarely, I will do jello shots though (maybe once or twice a year).

6. I have never smoked.

7. I don't like fireworks... they are too loud and scary (The 4th of July (which was yesterday) is my least favoriate holiday).

8. My G.P.A. in high school was above a 4.0.

9. I got married on Friday, the 13th (Friday, June 13th, 2003).

10. My mom is a Presbyterian minister, but I am agnostic (sorry mom, but it's true).
